The Cera Stove© uses a combination of  Gasification and Pyrolisation
The radiant heat from the refractory causes a controlled pyrolisation in the lower chamber and as the gasses raise they combine with the heated over air and burn completely in the upper chamber. This allows a very long controlled burn with out creosote.
